yesss.. omg the quotes on Hollywood are epic! Gina Torres: “The world likes their Latinas to look Italian” and poor Jessy had me dyiiinnnn “What you want me to do, you want me to salsa while I speak?… Damn, i didn’t know how to be Latino, thank you for explaining that to me” that is horribly hilarious.  Hollywood treats their ethnic ppl like shit :/

But this whole video is a much watch. 

Soledad just inspired me to check every heritage box that applies to me.   This was very interesting definitely a must watch.

This was really enlightening, and featured a lot of celebrities who I have actually been curious about in regards to ethnicity. Check it out.

It’s so strange how I experience these things all the time, but having other people talk about just brings it sort of to the foreground of my mind all of a sudden.

Because yeah, when a child is a little bit darker other latino/a people (adults) will talk about him or her sort of with pity. It’s such an odd thing.
